A fully custom piece can further enhance or highlight your quilted creation. Together we can explore designs that can do just that. Fully-custom generally means 4 or more designs and/or cropped sections. The price for fully-custom work is 4 cents per square inch.
Here are a few examples of my recent custom projects:
Photo 1 Fireworks Over Atlanta: This wall hanging features an E2E Star design in the sky section and Baptist fan for the ground and than cropped out around the black applique forming the stylized Atlanta skyline. I then added multiple dense designs for each building and ferris wheel. Using prostitcher designer, I added "Atlanta" in a fun font.
Photo 2: Featherweight Collage Quilt: Winning 2nd place in a recent county fair, this collage quilt contains multiple quilting designs throughout this piece.
Photo 3 Eastern Sierra Mountains Quilt: This throw size quilt was created for a clients niece who lives in the mountains. Each section contains a different quilt design to highlight the mountain scape.
Photo 4 Truck Children's Quilt: This small through size quilt was a donation piece for the Children's Hospital of Atlanta. Inspired by the print fabric, I added a different vehicle (dump truck, cement mixer or fire truck) to each of the solid blocks.
Photo 5 Advent Calendar: Here an additional example of the uses of multiple designs to make meaningful pieces. This piece features an E2E design (Christmas Trees by Nancy Haacke Designs) for the background. By adding a second piece including 25 numbers and making pockets for each, you have a fun way to count down the days until Christmas.
Photo 6 Memory Quilt: This quilt was a gift for my granddaughter. To highlight each each block I added a different quilt design.
