Meet Linda

I have been a quilter before I knew that was a thing. Early on it was simply a means to a practical end. I needed a budget friendly wall hanging to cover an eye sore on the wall, so I bought a kit and made my first quilt! I picked up quilting again with friends while living in Australia and again after moving to Atlanta nearly 25 years ago. While raising two kids and working full-time, I may have made one quilt every ten years; now that I am an empty nester and semi-retired, I have made well over ten quilts in just one year. 

You know you are a long-armer if, when you look at a quilt, you first see the quilt design before noticing the quilt itself.  That’s me!  I love the finishing of a quilt! I use a HandiQuilter Amara 20 with Pro-Stitcher for flawless digital designs.

I also love to capture memories by transforming t-shirts and other meaningful fabric into quilts, bears, pillows, etc. If you can dream it, I can help you create it.
