Memory Quilt Story

I met Tracy at the Norcross Art Splash in October of 2023. Her husband had passed away from brain cancer the previous March. She brought me his t-shirts and dress shirts that she wanted me to make several items to serve as Christmas gifts for her family. I made two t-shirt quilts, three pillows, three memory bears, and a table runner. She later asked me to make 35 quilted bookmarks to give to family friends for an anniversary memorial event.  She has more for me to make, but this was a big start in helping memorialize the love that she and her family have of a husband, father, uncle, and brother. Each item contained a special message from her late husband and the date.
